Annie Andrews

Annie B. Andrews is a beacon of inspiration who personifies bold and trailblazing women who have shattered glass ceilings and overcome barriers, including her groundbreaking promotion as the 3rd Black Female Admiral in the U.S. Navy. 

During her 32-year military service, Ms. Andrews held various leadership roles, including Commanding Officer of U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command, Executive Assistant and Naval Aide to the Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Manpower and Reserve Affairs, Director of Navy Total Force Requirements Division, and as the Commander of Navy Recruiting Command. Her dedication and contributions have had a profound impact on recruitment efforts, both for officer and enlisted programs, in the United States Navy. 

Following her distinguished naval career, Ms. Andrews transitioned to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) where she served as the Assistant Administrator for Human Resource Management. She directed personnel recruitment, retention, and accession, and oversaw a wide range of personnel programs and policies for 45,000 federal personnel across the nation. Ms. Andrews' visionary leadership extended to strategic partnerships in human resource management between FAA and the Department of Transportation, which regulates civil aviation both within the United States and in surrounding international waters. She introduced innovations like Robotic Process Automation and spearheaded workforce planning programs to shape the future of aviation. Her exceptional achievements were honored with numerous awards and recognitions, making her a true leader in her field.  Outside of her professional achievements, Ms. Andrews is deeply involved in charitable work in her community as well as being an active member serving on several national boards and supporting programs that enhance the well-being of others. Ms. Andrews dedication to making a difference extends beyond her career, showcasing her commitment to community and excellence. Ms. Andrews now serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Andrews Consulting Enterprises, LLC. At her company, which specializes in offering consultation on human resource management and people-related matters, Ms. Andrews excels in driving transformation for both organizations and individuals, aiding them in realizing their passions and purposes.
